Supplemental Security Income (SSI) -program is a needs based disability assistance program that pays benefits to adults and children with disabilities who have limited income and resources.
Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) - program pays benefits to you and certain family members if you are “insured,” meaning that you worked long enough – and recently enough - and paid Social Security taxes on your earnings.
Maryland Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program

The Maryland Department of Aging is providing durable medical equipment (DME) to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost. All equipment will be sanitized, repaired, and redistributed to Marylanders in need.
